A wonderful night at Lowe Park

A great big thank you to the Marion Parks and Rec department and Veridian Credit Union for sponsoring the wonderful music program at Lowe Park Aug. 3. After the program I researched the Johnny Rogers Band on the internet and they only do one show per night but presented both of their shows here. Rogers is an accomplished, self-taught guitarist and very entertaining and a great singer. I have seen singers impersonate one famous singer, but he did a multitude of them in the Legends of Country Music show for an hour and a half and then again for over an hour in the Buddy Holly and Rock ‘n' Roll and Beyond. As one who grew up during these eras, it was a fantastic evening.
