Fisher, Lola Kathleen (Kathy)
Lola Kathleen (Kathy) Fisher, 74, of Keosauqua, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at Van Buren County Hospital following a decline in health. Memorial services will be held in the spring with Michael Zahs officiating. Memorials can be directed to the Keosauqua Public Library. The Jones–Eden Funeral Home, Washington, is handling the arrangements.

Kathy was born on Sept. 11, 1935, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of James Richard and Oneita Griggs Fisher. She attended West Chester Consolidated School in West Chester, Iowa. Kathy was the librarian of the Keosauqua Public Library for many years. She loved good food, good books and cats.
Kathy is survived by her brother, Ron Fisher of Arlington, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
