Fisher, Kathleen
Kathleen Fisher, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Jim Langley. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home and one half-hour before the service Friday at the Chapel.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, James; daughters, Abbigail and Emily Fisher, both of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Michael Bagen of Cedar Rapids. and David (Carol) Bagen of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; and her mother-in-law, Lois Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, James Fisher.
Kathy was born Oct. 15, 1950, in Hartly, Iowa, to Joe and Ruth Bagen. She married Jim Fisher on March 3, 1972 in Chicago. She was employed as an administrative assistant at ImOn Communications. Kathy was active at Active Edge Fitness Club, a 25 year member of National TTT Society, holding various offices at the local and state level. She also enjoyed horseback riding in Wyoming, traveling in their RV and sewing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
