Party in the Park schedule released

IOWA CITY - The 2017 Party in the Park series opens June 8 with music by Old Capitol String Band at 6:30 p.m. at Court Hill Park, 2825 Friendship St. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy games, arts and crafts and frozen treats.
Party in the Park is free to the public.
Sponsored by the city of Iowa City's Parks and Recreation Department and the Neighborhood Outreach Division, Party in the Park gives residents a chance to enjoy their summer evenings outdoors with friends and family while exploring the city's many beautiful natural spaces and neighborhoods.
