Fan Appreciation Day for HS RoughRiders

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders high school hockey team is holding a Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday afternoon at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.
Admission will be free for the Riders' game against the Waterloo Warriors . The junior-varsity contest is at 12:30, the varsity game at 2:30.
The RoughRiders are an improved team from a season ago, with a 1-4-1-2 record through eight games. They compete in the Midwest High School Hockey League.
Cedar Rapids hosts
Ames on Friday night at 7:45.
