Moses, Henry W.
Henry W. Moses, 82, of Ely, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Private graveside services will be at Rogers Grove Cemetery near Ely.
Henry was born Jan. 25, 1931, on the family farm in rural Ely to Henry and Lenora (Binko) Moses. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1949. He married Joan Louvar on March 1, 1955. Henry farmed his whole life in Ely and also worked at Goss Graphic Systems for 27 years before retiring in 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Joan, of 58 years; children, Steve (Denise) of Solon, Cathy Langhurst of Cedar Rapids and Debbie (Shawn) Patterson of Central City; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Divishek of Cedar Rapids.
