Agnes L. Mensen, 91, of Earlville, Iowa, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at Marietta's Place, Manchester, Iowa, with family by her side.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Earlville, Iowa, with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Earlville. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Earlville with a 2:30 p.m. Scripture service, and additional visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
Agnes is survived by her four children, Linda Kerper of Greeley, Lyle (Linda) Mensen of Earlville, Steve Mensen (Anita Kafer) of Florida and Mike (Sandy) Mensen of Delhi. She is survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and her sisters-in-law, Abbie Mormann and Jean Mensen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin, in 2006; a son-in-law, Jim Kerper; her brothers, LuVerne (Catherine) Mormann, Arthur Mormann and Walter (Jean) Mormann; and a sister, Evelyn (Elmer) Geistkemper.
