Joyce Marie Coblentz, 77, of Marion, passed away Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Ascenion Lutheran Church in Marion.
Survivors include her children, Selina Huckins of Hiawatha and Timothy (Tanya) Coblentz of Shellsburg; her five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Danny Coblentz; her son, David Coblentz; and six brothers and sisters.
Joyce was born Oct. 10, 1938, to Everett and Theresa (Appleby) Henderson, in Hopkinton, Iowa. She married Danny Coblentz on Nov. 24, 1956, in Marion. Joyce worked as an aide at Crestview Acres for many years. She retired in 1999. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Marion.
