Novak, Nadine M.
Nadine M. Novak, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon; son, Billy Joe (Songa) Novak; granddaughter, Brittley; and siblings, Evelyn Cole of Keosauqua, Nita Fuller of Toddville, Lorraine Sakulin and Betty (Bob) Slaton, both of Cedar Rapids, and Duane Dusil of Walford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, DeRoy Dusil, Marvin Dusil and Wally Dusil.
Nadine was born on a farm near Fairfax on Feb. 7, 1936, the daughter of William and Marie (Vostril) Dusil. In 1955, she was united in marriage to Vernon Novak at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Nadine enjoyed gardening and going out to eat.
