Ron Novak
RON NOVAK Garfield, Ark. Ron Novak, 77, of Garfield, Ark., died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2018, in his home. Ron was born Jan. 17, 1941, in St. Paul, Minn., to Phillip and Shirley (Bodsberg) Novak. Ron served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963 in the 82nd Airborne. In 1965, Ron started his career with Northwestern Bell in the Yellow Pages department, retiring in 2000. Ron is survived by his children, Rhonda Braun, Tucson, Ariz., Shelly Rud, Ellsworth, Ill., Victor Vance, Chicago, and Stephanie (Greg) Vance Reininga, Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Linsey Coon, Ahwatukee, Ariz., Melissa (Kevin) Corkins, Rochester, Minn., Derek Braun, Northfield, Minn., and Ava Andrews, Bo Andrews and Ruby Vance of Cedar Rapids; his great-grandchildren, Kerry and Kenny; and his siblings, Jerry Novak and Pat Madison. The family will be holding a remembrance gathering for Ron.
