Other Top 45s

I do not have all the answers. I'm just not that smart. I also will, here, cop to cutting one player from my top 45 list because I forgot to add the punter.
So knowing that I don't have all the answers, I polled some other Iowa writers, reporters and bloggers for their top 45 Hawkeyes for the 2015 season.
Thanks to my colleague and, for the next five-plus months better half, Scott Dochterman, HawkeyeReport.com's Tom Kakert and Blair Sanderson, AllHawkeyes.com's Rob Howe, HawkeyeNation.com's Jon Miller and Black Heart Gold Pants writer Rick Reese (@PlannedSickDays).
I very much appreciate your contributions. Now, let's see what I missed (I can already see a couple). (BTW, I went heavy on offense because I think Iowa's ability to score points — I know this sounds trite, but think about it — is going to determine what kind of season this becomes.)
QB C.J. Beathard was everyone's No. 1. Hmm. Didn't see that coming (sarcasm font).

Thanks for the challenge! It's Beathard-mania ba-by! He was an easy choice for #1 since I believe as C.J. goes, the team goes. Drew Ott may be the best player of the team but C.J. puts the points on the board.
I like the other quarterback of the defense, Jordan Lomax, to have a big senior year and feel defense will be the strength of the 2015 Iowa Hawkeyes. But, I noticed only three defenders cracked my Top 10. The other team can't win if they don't score but neither can Iowa. A 0-0 tie heading to overtime would be very Ferentz-ian and make us dream fondly of the days of 6-4.
