Edna Henderson, 89, of Independence, Iowa, passed away on April 17, 2018. She is survived by her children, William (Robin), Patricia (John) Higby, Ernest (Joni), Edwin (Diana) and Erwin (Dianne); 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life April 22, 2018, at 1 p.m. at The Henderson Event Center, 2320 Iowa Ave., Independence, Iowa. A light lunch will be served. Bring a dish to share, if you desire. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
The family requests memorial donations to be given to Cedar Valley Hospice, 801 First St. East, Independence, IA 50644 (www.cvhhospice.org) in lieu of flowers.
