Patrick J. Green, 54, of Monticello, died suddenly Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Jones Regional Hospital in Anamosa. Friends and relatives of Pat may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, where a wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Services for Pat will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Cascade.

Pat was born Feb. 12, 1961, in Monticello, Iowa, the son of Jerome and Betty (Wagner) Green. He received his education at Cascade High School in Cascade and Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar.

He was a past president of the Cascade Jaycees and retired member of the Cascade Fire Department.

He started his career working at Cascade Implement, later went to Georgia Pacific, and currently was employed at Orbis in Monticello. Pat loved woodworking, was an avid Hawkeye fan, and enjoyed spending his free time fishing.

He is survived by his three children, Brad (special friend, Peggy) Green of Monticello, Christopher (special friend, Alyssa) Green of Scotch Grove and Breanna (special friend, Richard) Green of Cedar Rapids; his parents, Jerome and Betty Green of Cascade; one sister, Suz (Barney) Otting of Cascade; aunts and uncles, Sister Rita Green of Dubuque, Joe "Doc" (Mary Jo) Wagner of Anamosa, Jane Wagner of Dubuque and Peggy (Pat) Kearney of Cascade; and nephew and niece, Jace (Kirsten) Otting and Janice Otting.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chris and Dorothy Green and Marvin and Vivan Wagner; one uncle, Father Robert Wagner; and one aunt, Marge (Wagner) Holt.
