No arrests have been made after as many as 15 gunshots were fired in a Cedar Rapids park.
Police have been tight-lipped about the investigation into the shooting in Daniels Park around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. No one was injured.
Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said witnesses described hearing anywhere from five to 15 shots from the southeast corner of the park.
Four bullets struck a car that was parked in the area, Hamblin said.
When asked whether the car belonged to anyone connected with the shooting, Hamblin said: “We're still looking into that.”
