Karen Ann Scheib, 73, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at her residence in Vinton. Celebration of Life service: 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Oak Grove Church in rural Shellsburg. Visitation: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home, Vinton. Private family committal services: Maplewood Cemetery, Vinton.
Karen is survived by her husband of 18 years, Mike Scheib of Vinton; daughters, Ronda (Russ) Egbert of Fort Worth, Texas, and Tammy (Art) Jurchen of Urbana; son, Bruce (Jerri) Scheib of Mason, Ohio; sister, Nancy (Jeff) Lucius of Golden, Colo.; nine grandchildren, Ellie and Emerson Egbert, Nathan, Noah, Ashley and Benjamin Scheib, Ariel Bartling, Rena Cozart and Eli Hunerdosse; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Bud (Ann), Larry (DeAnne) and Lyle Scheib; sister-in-law, Faith (Tom) Kincheloe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Vinton Public Library.
