Carla M. Peters DuCharme, 55, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Feb. 23, 2016, in her home. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements made by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Carla is survived by her siblings, Neal Peters of Las Vegas, Nev., Keith (Denise) Peters of Cedar Rapids, Cathy (Steve Godber) Peters of Cedar Rapids and Scott (Karen) Peters of Pleasant Praire, Wis.; six nieces and nephews; sister in-law, Diana Peters of Las Vegas; and her cat, Toby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and brother, Kevin Peters.
Carla was born on Jan. 31, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Thompson) Peters. She graduated from Cedar Rapids College Community High School in 1980. She worked for Rockwell Collins, General Mills, Amana Refrigeration, and then did various other jobs. She enjoyed antiquing, collecting quilts and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
