Mark Seidl supports veterans

As an Iowa veteran, I am proud to say that our state has enacted all items on the U.S. Department of Defense's Top 10 list of quality-of-life issues for our military families.
However, I am disappointed to say that one of our Linn County representatives, Renee Schulte, voted against a key item on the Top 10 list - providing unemployment benefits to the families of deployed service personnel when a “trailing spouse” loses a job.
Our men and women in uniform should be able to expect our full support as they serve to protect our country from terrorism and other threats here and abroad.
I'm supporting Mark Seidl in the upcoming election in House District 37 because he gives them that support.
Our troops sacrifice a lot for all of us, and we should be happy to lessen the sacrifices their families make by providing a little support to them during transitioning to active duty.
