Letter: Delivering daffodils brought pleasure

When I read Beth Hammell's March 14 letter 'Daffodils are a sign of spring, hope” about the daffodils now being sold, I was reminded of the year when my daughter appeared at my door with an enormous bunch of them and announced, 'These are for you! - To give away.”
It was a double gift. I could enjoy them and enjoy the pleasure that others received when I handed them yellow springtime. I had a wonderful time.
