C.A. "Buck" Reeve, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Sept. 13, 2014, at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Cedar Memorial's certified celebrant Julie Freese will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entomb-ment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving are his children, Mike Reeve and wife Vicki of Cedar Rapids and Kim Duncan and husband David of Joplin, Mo.; his grandchildren, Lesley Schieltz and husband Cory and their daughters, Chloe and Ellie, and Michael Reeve Jr., all of Cedar Rapids; John Duncan of Chicago and Max Duncan of Joplin, Mo.; and a brother, John Young of Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Reeve, in 2012.
C.A. "Buck" Reeve was born Oct. 13, 1928, in Jacksonville, Ill., the son of C.A. and Fay Reeve. C.A. "Buck" proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1950 to 1952. He was united in marriage to Mary Louise White on Aug. 27, 1950, in Jacksonville, Ill. C.A. "Buck" owned and operated the Reeve Volkswagen Dealership in Cedar Rapids from 1966 to 1979. He then was president of Central City Manufacturing Inc. until his retirement in 2001.
C.A. "Buck" enjoyed golfing, but his greatest enjoyment was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
