Sheila K. Wayson, 72, of Vinton, Iowa, and formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Vinton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Hall in Urbana on Dec. 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. A small ceremony will be held at 3 p.m.
Sheila is survived by her brother, Dennis (Donna) Wayson; and grandchildren, Cassie Burns and Samantha, Alexa and Sierra Dripps.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Evelyn Wayson; daughter, Stephanie Dripps; sisters, Pat Clayton and Rosalee Carlin; and brother, Kevin Wayson.
Sheila retired after working at Rockwell Collins for 40 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in her name.
