State holding meeting on 2nd leg of Highway 100 extension

The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting on Nov. 13 to discuss the status of the proposed extension of Highway 100 from U.S. Highway 30 to Covington Road/Linn County Road W-36.

Information also will be available about the section from Edgewood Road northwest to Covington Road.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Iowa DOT District 6 Office, 5455 Kirkwood Blvd. SW, Cedar Rapids.  It will be conducted using an open forum format.

Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. A short presentation will be made at 5:30 p.m. in conference room A.
