Rolfe, Lucille Kathryn
Lucille Kathryn Rolfe, 91, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Oct. 24, 2009, in Thornton, Colo. following a long illness. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Monday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. with the Rev. David Grandon to officiate. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Ann Coburn and husband, Richard Dean of Denver, Colo.; sister, Mary Lavern Cocharn of Atkins; grandchildren, Richard Dean Coburn Jr. and Gerald Park Coburn and wife, Leeann, all of Thornton, Colo.; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Ann Coburn and Mason Dean Coburn,
Lucille was born April 18, 1918, the daughter of Leo and Ruth (Lind) Heinen in Casselton, N.D. She married Gerald Rueben Rolfe on May 19, 1944, in Cedar Rapids. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was employed at Franklin Middle School in the attendance office from 1954 to 1980.
