Boevers, Jerald William
Jerald William Boevers, 69, of rural Readlyn, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, Waverly, from Pancreatic Cancer.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Lori (Dave) Sharp of Plainfield; two sons, Mark (Theresa) Boevers of Readlyn, and Monte (Rosanne) Boevers of Center Point; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Thurm and Dorothy (Lawrence) Judisch, both of Sumner; and one brother, Ronald Boevers of Cape Coral, Fla.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Viola Boevers; and his wife, Judith.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Readlyn. Burial will be held in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Readlyn. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Readlyn.
Memorials may be directed to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community or the American Cancer Society.
