Cynthia Jo Gleason, 56, died Friday, June 10, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from complications related to a stroke.
A Service of Remembrance will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
Cindy was born Dec. 10, 1959, in Iowa City, the daughter of LeRoy and MaryAnn Sibley Lenoch. On June 6, 1987, Cindy married Garry Gleason.
Survivors include her husband, Garry; their children, Sephera (28), Race "RJ" (24), David (18), Chera (16), Tyler (9) and Matthew (7); grandson, Devon; her siblings, Dan Lenoch, Steve (Geralyn) Lenoch, Doug (Mary) Lenoch, Jeanne (Bob) Stubbs and Jay (Marlene) Lenoch;
brothers- and sisters-in-law, Bob (Mary Jane) Gleason, Peggy (Phil) Hird, Diana Hedrick, Rick (Linda) Gleason, Blair (Donna) Gleason, Tom (Anita) Gleason and Chris Gleason; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, David, Vicki and Johnny; and brother-in-law, David.
