Zimmerman, Juanita C.

Juanita C. Zimmerman, 77, a resident of Cedar Rapids, died Dec. 27, 2011. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by Father Mark Reasoner. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Juanita is survived by her husband of the home, Garry Zimmerman; three sons, Kenneth, Randy and Jeffrey Zimmerman, all of Cedar Rapids; a brother, James Robertson; a brother-in-law, Bob Zimmerman; and a sister-in-law, Mattie Lee Horton.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Celia Robertson.

Juanita graduated from Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids. She married Garry Zimmerman on June 6, 1959. She worked in the cafeteria for the Cedar Rapids Community School System and in sales at Armstrong and Smulekoff's.

Juanita was a faithful member of St. Jude Catholic Church for many years.

She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
