Austin "Flash" Schroeder, 15, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, Tuesday morning, April 28, 2015.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to his nurses and doctors at UIHC who managed his pain and helped us through the hardest days of our lives.
Austin continued to Win The Day, every day, to the very end. As of Tuesday morning, the cancer lost the battle as it is dead and Austin's spirit lives on free of cancer and free of pain. He has truly Won The Day.
