Jeannine M. Lane, 84, of Lutz, Fla., died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016.
She was born June 9, 1931, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of William and Rose Hyde. She graduated from St Mary's High School in 1949. In 1956, she married Bill Lane. They spent 24 years in the U.S. Air Force. After retire-ment, they returned to Iowa and lived in Cedar Rapids for 25 years. They moved to Tampa in 1997.
Jeannine is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Bob), Nancy (Nabil) and Diane (Lester); her son, Jeff (Sally); four grand-children; and three granddogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose Hyde; and her two sisters and two brothers.
Jeannine was a member of the Tampa Bay Iowa Club and avid fan of the Tampa Bay Rays. Jeannine also was a member of St Mary's Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by many.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Blount Curry MacDill Chapel, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL 33609. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 15520 N. Blvd., Tampa, FL 33613.
