On Dec. 18, voters in Johnson County have an opportunity to vote for an interim supervisor. I will be voting for Phil Hemingway.
Hemingway is a fourth generation Iowa farmer and small-business man, who has selflessly served with distinction on various community boards, including most recently the Iowa City school board. Hemingway has been an outspoken advocate of bringing fiscal accountability and transparency to local government.
He would be a welcome addition to the Johnson County Board of Supervisors.
