Mark F. Stepanek, 58, of Rowley, Iowa, died Friday, June 15, 2018.
Visitation: 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, with a time of sharing at 3:30 p.m. Inurnment at a later date: Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo.
Mark was born Feb. 16, 1960, in Niagara Falls, N.Y.,
the son of Vernon and Margaret (Bryan) Stepanek. He was a graduate of West Delaware High School, Manchester. Mark was a steel worker and millwright, retiring from the Weitz Co. Mark was a passionate man, whether it be in his work ethic, about motorcycles and old cars, his beloved dogs, or in his love of family and the time he spent with them. He lived a full life and will be dearly missed.
Mark is survived by his siblings, Diana Bielec of New York, Marcia (Les) Lincoln of Charles City, Kay (Mark) Hentges of Grundy Center, Steven (Darla) Stepanek of Manchester, and Janice Dunphy of Marion; his beloved aunts and uncles; and he was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister; and brothers-in-law, Robert Bielec and Richard Dunphy.
