Support Reynolds’ push to restore rights

I support Gov. Kim Reynolds' somewhat conservative decision on giving voting rights back to former offenders.
I fully concur with Reynolds, but think one should meet all court obligations first - as I had to.
Being a ex-felon, I had to go through then-Gov. Tom Vilsack to get my voting rights back. I have always been heavily involved in politics for most of my life. In fact, in 2005, I ran for city council in District 3.
The state says we, as ex-offenders, are rehabilitated when we are released and ready to fulfill our obligation to society once more. But yet we still have obstacles in front of us, be it certain jobs or voting. How can we fulfill our obligation if we still have limitations put on us when released? The proposal Reynolds is pushing for removes one of these limitations.
