Todd Alan Meeks, 44, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Springville.
Todd was born May 31, 1970, in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1989. He then joined the Army and was stationed in California. He was employed at Rotech Medical and enjoyed his part-time job driving "the little electric cab."
His joy in life had always been riding his Harley, watching the Packers and spending time with his friends and family. Todd was fortunate to have numerous friends of all walks of life.
Todd was fascinated with finding "Bigfoot," cooking, fishing and playing Mafia Wars.
He is survived by his mom, Linda Meeks; and his father, Randy Meeks; sister, Tina (Bryon) Ruby; aunt, Lisa Negrete (Dan Ricklefs); uncle, Don Styron; cousins, Cortney Negrete and Trever Ricklefs; nephew, Alec Ruby; and niece, Hallie Ruby.
Todd was preceded in death by his grandma, Gi-gi Lund-Faulk; and aunt, Lori Styron.
Your family loves you so much! You were so strong and gave it all you had but God had bigger plans for you. We will miss your smile laughter and humor.
We're going to do this "Todd's way"! Please join us for a Celebration of Life at Ernie's Tavern, 67 16th Ave. SW, in the heart of Czech Town, Wednesday June 18, starting at 4:30 p.m.
