Diana Marie Trembley,
71, of Marion, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, conducted by Chaplain Dwayne Potter. The family will greet friends following the service until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Diana was born Sept. 25, 1947, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard and Helen (Duhme) Spratt. She graduated from West Central High School in Maynard, Iowa, in 1965, and then attended business college in Minnesota. On June 23, 1973, in Oelwein, Iowa, Diana was united in marriage to Chet Trembley. She was employed as an administrative assistant at Iowa Manufacturing Co., Area Ambulance and Smulekoff's. Diana was an avid gardener and loved her time with flowers. She especially loved all of her cats and was an all-around animal lover. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Chet Trembley of Marion; her siblings, Patricia (Clyde) Ohl of Mason City, LuAnn (Mike) Kuennen of Palo and Dale (Elizabeth) Spratt of Oelwein; and many nieces and nephews.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bernie Spratt.
