Swanson, Harold W.
Harold?W. Swanson, 94, of Manchester, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, at First Lutheran Church in Manchester, with the Rev. Allan Oman and the Rev. Dr. Jean Rabary officiating. Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester. Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester and one hour before service time Tuesday at the church.
Survivors include his son, Larry (Sandy) Swanson of Manchester; his daughter, Linda (David) Mickens of Manchester; five grandchildren, Julie Mickens, Amy Swanson, Stacie Mickens, Jordan Swanson and Cindy Mickens; and three siblings, Alice Tate of Cedar Falls, John (Una) Swanson of Manchester and Verna Ahrens of Copper Cove, Texas.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in November 1995; his parents, Alex and Ella Swanson; one brother, Richard Swanson; and a sister, Florence, in infancy.
