Vote for your favorite team from the Ferentz era
Marc Morehouse

I'd like to think we've had some fun with the vacation projects over the years.
There was the Hall of Ferentz a couple years ago. Last summer, it was top 10 games from the Kirk Ferentz era. (Remember, a lot of you didn't agree with my No. 1, the 6-4 game at Penn State.)
So, yes, I'm taking an Al Bundy vacation starting next Friday. I'm not going anywhere, I'm going everywhere.
Copyeditor Sam helped me with this summer's idea -- top five Ferentz teams.
I'll put all 12 teams on the list, from '99 to 2010. I'm sure people can come up with reasons to love each season. Yes, Iowa was 1-10 in 1999, but I'm sure a few of you out there saw 8-0 Big Ten run, Big Ten co-championship and Orange Bowl just three years later. OK, 2007 might be a tough sell. Yeah, that's a tough sell, but I'll put it on the list just for order's sake.
No imprint from me. I want to hear your favorite teams.
Vote for one and send me a reason if the spirit moves you. My e-mail is marc.morehouse@sourcemedia.net. I'll also throw in some social media comments. I'm @marcmorehouse on Twitter. Look for On Iowa on Facebook.
I'm going to hide the results until the end, just to build a wisp of suspense. The voting will end next Wednesday, allowing me a few days to put together the posts before Bundy-cation.
Once again and as always, thanks for your participation. Have some fun!
