Debra Denbow Weber, 55, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Gladbrook, was escorted home by an angel on Thursday, June 25, 2015. She passed away at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Peace United Church of Christ, Gladbrook. The Rev. Robert Doner will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 29, at Peace United Church of Christ. Inter-ment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, rural Gladbrook. The Gladbrook Chapel of Anderson Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Debra was born March 15, 1960, to Richard "Dick" and Jolene (Dreessen) Denbow in Grundy Center, Iowa. She graduated from Gladbrook High School in 1978. Deb received her nursing diploma from Allen Hospital in Waterloo. She later received her BSN from the University of Dubuque and her MSN from California College of Health Services.
Deb was employed in many capacities as a nurse in several health care facilities and will be remembered for her smile, caring compassion and humor.
Debra was united in marriage to Rod Weber on April 24, 2004, in Van Horne.
Debra will be missed by her husband, Rod; a stepson, Skyler, of Cedar Rapids; parents, Dick and Jolene Denbow; a brother, Dave (Sherri) Denbow of Gladbrook; a niece, Ashley (Mike) Steven; and a nephew, Jared Denbow; along with aunts, uncles and many cousins.
