Loretta A. Shileny, 85, of Protivin, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Evans Memorial Home in
Cresco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, by Father Nick March. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St., Protivin, with a Scripture wake service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Loretta is survived by her children, Janice (Michael) Branson of Cedar Rapids, Dennis (Mary) Shileny of La Porte City, Gerry (Jodie) Shileny of Calmar, Marilyn (Andy) Fliger of Cedar Rapids and Linda Prentice of Spring Hill, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
