William J. Bearbower, 85, of rural Rowley, died April 17, 2011, at home. Services: 10:30 a.m. April 20, White Funeral Home, Independence. Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a military service at 6 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Melba; son, Donald (Sue) Bearbower, Jesup; two grandchildren, Chelsea and Andy Bearbower; brother, Harold (Sharon) Bearbower of Rowley; and sister-in-law, Delorse Bearbower of Rowley.
