Grinnell
John Link, 84, of Grinnell, formerly of Holiday Lake and Cedar Falls, died Oct. 24, 2014, at
his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at the Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn. A private family burial will be at a later date in the Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church or St. Francis Manor Foundation for Education in Grinnell.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian, of Grinnell; two sons, Steve (Pat) Link and David (Denise) Link of Brooklyn; five grand-children, Courtney (Brad) Donohoe, Brandon Link, Troy (Brittany) Link, Trenton Link and Travis Link; two great-grand-children, Piper and Sloane Donohoe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister and brother-in-law, June and Robert Smith.
