Missing memorials honored son’s life

To the editor:
Since our son, Dave, died in November 2010, our family has kept his memory alive many different ways.
On his grave at Cedar Memorial, we have had a fish and a golfer representing Dave's two favorite pastimes.
On June 2, Cedar Memorial put the clean up notice in The Gazette. Clean up would begin 8 a.m. June 2 and decorations would be retained in the storage area until July 6.
I realize our big mistake was not removing these items from Dave's grave before June 2, but we immediately went to the grave at 9 p.m. June 2. The two special items were gone.
At 8 a.m. June 3, my husband went to the storage area hoping and praying that our two very special memorial decorations would be there - neither to be found. These two items were not just random decorations, they represented a part of our son's life.
We are hoping whomever removed these two items from the storage area in such a timely fashion would return them to the family to whom they mean so much.
