Rick G. Young, 53, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. A celebration of life gathering will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Sue; his best friend, his dog Buster; his other three best friends, Skippy and Eric and his neighbor, Pokie; brother, Norman (Sara); and stepfather, Tom Ritchie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; mother, Florence Ritchie; and two brothers, Ronald and Mark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
