Lortz, Elaine Mae
Elaine Mae Lortz, 88, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, surrounded by family members at Colonial Manor in Amana following an extended illness. Funeral Services: St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Williamsburg, Wednesday, June 30 at 10:30 a.m. Services conducted by the Rev. James Parks. Burial: Pilot Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg. Visitation: Friends may call one hour before at the church. Memorials may be contributed to St. Paul's United Methodist Building Fund or Essence of Life Hospice. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.
Elaine is survived by two nieces: Bonnie (Bob) Hull of Cedar Rapids and Joyce Lortz of Conroy; seven great-nieces and nephews: Gary Lortz, Roger Lortz, and Paul Lortz and families, Amy Finnegan and family, Pam Glandorf, Mark Glandorf, and Dan Glandorf and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Malcolm Lortz and wife Ethel; a nephew, Larry Lortz in 2003; and a nephew-in-law, Mervin Glandorf in 1988.
