Iowa City man accused of selling heroin

IOWA CITY - An Iowa City man is accused of selling heroin out of his home.
According to Johnson County Sheriff's Office reports, Leonard Johnson, 57, was arrested Wednesday for the manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver no more than 100 grams of a substance containing heroin.
During an ongoing investigation, officials found Johnson selling heroin from his home in the 1300 block of Sandusky Drive in Iowa City, according to the police report.
On Tuesday, a subject was stopped by officers after leaving Johnson's residence and found to be in possession of heroin. The subject identified Johnson as the individual from whom he frequently purchases heroin, according to the report.
Johnson has been charged with a felony for a controlled substance violation.
Iowa City and North Liberty police departments assisted in the arrest.
