Take a look at how C.R. golf courses are run

This summer, there have been two or three articles in The Gazette concerning golf in the Cedar Rapids area. It seems that golf course use, the number of paid rounds, etc., has been way down.
I find that strange because every time that I go to my local course, the parking lot is full of Linn County vehicles. Instead of wondering where all the golfers went, maybe the city leaders should take a look at how the Cedar Rapids courses are run. There must be a reason that some golfers in Cedar Rapids go to the small surrounding towns to play.
A suggestion: Maybe the Cedar Rapids courses should start giving lessons on course etiquette and courtesy.
