Marilyn L. Duncan, 77, of Marion, died Saturday, July 8, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Per Marilyn's request, there will be no service or visitation. Inurnment: Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her sister, Kathy Gordon of Marion; a brother, Gary Duncan of Simi Valley, Calif.; two nephews; one niece; and three great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Duncan.
Marilyn was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Marshalltown, the daughter of Charles and Irene Clayton Duncan. She worked in quality control at Rockwell Collins for over 37 years, retiring in 1997.
Marilyn was a wonderful daughter, sister and friend, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
