MARY "BOBBIE" CATHERINE SHAY

Mary "Bobbie" Catherine Shay, 91, went to her eternal rest Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at her home in Iowa City.
A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Coralville, Iowa. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 2, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Lensing Funeral Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City. A rosary will precede the visitation Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Bill; her children, Michael Shay (Linda), Kevin Shay (Kristin), Daniel Shay (Terri), Edwin Shay, Richard Shay, Beth Shay, Sheila Shay, Patrick Shay (Julie), Maureen Adams and Colleen Shay (Jeni); 34 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruth Quinlan and Dorothy Shay; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard, Clement and William Quinlan; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Iowa City Hospice and the staff of Legacy Point.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or Camp Courageous.
