Looking for something a little different from typical oval track racing? How about a hold-onto-your seat adrenaline rush?
If so, the Brooklyn Raceway Figure 8 Fall Nationals may feed that need. This little high-banked bullring located about one-mile north of Interstate 80 near Brooklyn is holding its annual Fall Nationals tonight and Saturday.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children. Two full complete shows will be held both days.
The oval portion of the figure-8 track will see racing in front-wheel drive and 2-person cruiser divisions. Stock, pro stock and open class cars also will race through the figure 8.
Action begins at 7:15 p.m. Friday, 6 p.m. Saturday.
Friday's winners get plaques and Saturday's champions receive championship belts. Further more information, got to www.brooklynraceway.org.
