Robert A. Gregory, 88, of Tipton, died peacefully Oct. 31, 2017, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday,
Nov. 3.

Robert, the son of Stanford and Grace (Ferguson) Gregory, was born April 14, 1929, in Iowa City, and grew up on a farm in Union Valley Township, Cedar County. He graduated from the eighth grade at Union Valley School and from West Liberty High School, Class of 1946.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne, of nearly 64 years; two daughters, Sheryl Gregory and Patricia (David) Helmold of Tipton; a son, Robert E. Gregory of Stanwood; grandchildren, Tracy (Larry) Covington, Jennifer (Mike) Redlinger, Sarah Helmold, Lindsay (Devin) Beni, Bethany Gregory, Patrick Gregory and Lauren Gregory; and great-grandchildren, Christopher, Skyler, Michael, Alyn, Quintin, Olivia, Samuel and Natalie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Rochester United Methodist Church, Camp Courageous or Tipton Ambulance Service.
