Sean Holzinger, 43, died Friday, June 19, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona, Ill. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, Ill. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the mortuary.
Survivors include his grandmother, Norma Holzinger of Carbon Cliff, Ill.; uncles, Chuck (Doris) Holzinger of Coal Valley, Ill., and Bob (Claire) Holzinger of Moline, Ill.; aunts, Sandy (Roger) Jacobs of Moline, Ill., Sherry (Ed) Boden of Winston Salem, N.C., and Sue (Dave) DeDecker of Orion, Ill.; and numerous cousins
He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Gene and Sally Havemann; and his paternal grandfather, Bernard Holzinger.
Sean was born Nov. 1, 1971, in Chicago, the son of Steven and Nada Havemann Holzinger. He enjoyed painting and drawing like his father and spent a lot of time with his mother until her passing in 2012.
