Jared Sturm Bennett, 21, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015. Funeral services are private. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his father, Brian (Connie) Bennett of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Robin Mossbarger of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Alex Bennett of Iowa City, Hillary Folsom of Cedar Rapids, Jodi Folsom of Cedar Rapids, Matthew Mossbarger of Cedar Rapids and Jack Mossbarger of Cedar Rapids; and his grandparents, Maurice and Donna Sturm of Dubuque.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Nina Mae Bennett; and beloved dog, Zeus.
Jared was born Aug. 16, 1994, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Brian and Robin. Jared loved music, playing guitar, animals and skate boarding. He loved sports and was a natural with baseball. His love for the MGK, Asking Alexandria and Kiss bands were endless.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
