Lucille E. Miller, 96, a resident of Willow Gardens, died there Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Dittmar of Marion and Phylis Herb of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Hazel Eastwood and Bea Payton, both of Vinton. She also is survived by four grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands and 10 sisters and brothers.
Lucille was born Aug. 21, 1919, in Benton County, the daughter of Ernest and Martha Hoover Seeman.
She married Clyde Magarell in 1936 in Cedar Rapids. Clyde passed away in 1970. Lucille later married Jack Miller Sr. in 1974 in Cedar Rapids. Jack passed away in 1993.
Lucille worked in assembly at Square D for over 22 years, retiring in 1977. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, crafts and cooking. Lucille traveled all over the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Her greatest joy in life was the time spent with her beloved family and friends.
Lucille was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed.
